Cindy Bigalke Honored as First Recipient of the Bob Hoffman Community Service Award
Our founder, Bob Hoffman, built his reputation not only as a great real estate and land use attorney with projects ranging from Mall of America to Target Center and Carlson Towers, but also as a giant in community service. Bob helped establish and oversee many important nonprofit organizations throughout his career. In honor of Bob’s commitment, the firm has created the Bob Hoffman Community Service Award to be bestowed on an employee each year who best demonstrates that exemplary commitment to community service.
Larkin Hoffman is pleased to announce that Cindy Bigalke has been honored as the first recipient of the Bob Hoffman Community Service Award. Cindy is a longtime employee with a strong commitment to community service. For the past 20 years, she has been the organizational leader of the firm’s involvement in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, participating in nearly every relay, from set up to tear down. She has also made remarkable fundraising efforts during that time, helping raise money for the charity with pancake breakfasts, silent auctions, bake sales and many other events.
“Bob Hoffman’s legacy is that he created a firm that encourages all of us to get involved,” said Larkin Hoffman President, Bill Griffith. “Cindy Bigalke’s commitment symbolizes the passionate service to community that is a core value at Larkin Hoffman. Receiving the first Bob Hoffman Community Service Award is a well-deserved honor.”
