Ken Corey-Edstrom will lead a panel discussion on Fees and Professionals at the 2012 Bankruptcy Institute sponsored by Minnesota Continuing Legal Education on October 3, 2012 at the Marriott Minneapolis Northwest – formerly the Northland Inn. The discussion will center around issues about how a bankruptcy attorney gets paid in the District of Minnesota and the ethical concerns that each attorney has to be aware of if they wish to be hired by a bankruptcy estate. The topics will include new rules on flat fee agreements, applications to be hired as a professional in a Chapter 11 case, new rules concerning Chapter 11 fees in large cases and disgorgement of fees.
