Our finance team has extensive experience representing local and national lenders as well as borrowers in financing transactions. We negotiate and draft all loan documents necessary for financing transactions. This knowledgeable team is equipped to handle all financing transactions from the most sophisticated multimillion dollar securitized transactions to Small Business Association guaranteed lending transactions.
Leasing

Purchase and sales
Our purchase and sales team represents clients in all aspects of the negotiation, acquisition and sale of property. We are equipped to handle all real estate transactions, whether large or small, using the latest technology to serve clients and to respond to the ever changing environment surrounding real estate acquisitions and sales. CICs
We represent clients in the formation and governance of Common Interest Communities (CICs) under the Minnesota Common Interest Ownership Act (MCIOA), including condominiums, town homes, cooperatives, single family and new residential associations. Our clients include both residential and commercial developers, enabling our team to offer clients a unique perspective on CICs. We prepare all documents in the formation of CICs under Minnesota law, including covenants, easements, required disclosures, association formation and conveyance documents. Our attorneys have extensive experience and knowledge regarding MCIOA and its exemptions.
We also offer litigation services for disputes arising out of the MCIOA. We have litigation experience in bringing and defending against warranty claims, defense and enforcement of covenants and all aspects of perfecting, foreclosing and challenging association assessment liens.
College Campus Purchase/Construction Projects
A non-profit arts college seeking to purchase some land contacted Larkin Hoffman for support. The Larkin Hoffman team, led by Tom Alexander, assisted the college in the purchase of the last parcel of land – needed to complete ownership of its multi-block inner city campus – from a difficult holdout property owner.
